At present PE level small cap 250 is least between nifty 50, next 50, mid cap 150 and small cap 250. ALSO the present price is about 13 percent lower than max price achieved in last one year. If PE presently 20 ,and it moves to PE of 30 in next few years and If we link it to India GDP moving from 5 th to 3 rd largest by 2027 to 2030, I will bet small cap 250 is a good index to buy at present PE level and price.
