morning. dax broke its downtrend line yesterday. had the long off the retest but closed it too soon at the 1hr 200moving average. been long again this morning for sone good pips, but we now have the 4hr 200moving average above which may hokd as resistance.

We should expect volatility with big earnings reports due this week. Bullish trend still in tact on the weekly timeframe however there has been a full retracement back down to the baseline. So the market needs to decide - continue this pullback to come down further to the monthly baseline around the 17k mark or will it continue on its parabolic mission to Mars! One thing for sure…it cant keep going up forever!

With the Nasdaq falling over 2% on Friday, Sap and Infineon are likely to fall another 2% during market hours on Monday as they track the Nas... so personally, I can't see it. Up yes but maybe a dead cat bounce

Also add Airbus, Siemans and the the motor vehicle companies also follow Nas incidently the highest market cap companies in the Dax. But let's see

overnight risk off hit my tp on Wednesdays short from 17870. tp was the bottom of the down channel. so 320 pips. wonderful

thanks, we have a nice clear down channel with opportunities both ways if youre patient. The 4hr chart has turned bearish for the first time in months but you cant ignore the daily chart. Overnight it broke through the channel but bounced off the daily 100moving average

You were correct about gping both ways, I missed out on any longs and went short and done my dough. I think the charts have done a u turn and gone bullish now
