MFS Intermediate High Income Fund (the Fund) is a diversified closed-end management investment company. The Fund's investment objective is to seek high current income, but may also consider capital appreciation. The Company invests approximately 80% of its net assets, including borrowings for investment purposes, in high income debt instruments. It invests in high-yield securities rated below investment grade. It also invests in foreign securities. The Fund invests in various sectors, such as aerospace and defense, automotive, broadcasting, brokerage and asset managers, building, business services, cable television, chemicals, computer software, computer software-systems, construction, consumer services, containers, electrical equipment, electronics, entertainment, financial institutions, food and beverages, gaming and lodging, industrial, insurance-property and casualty, and machinery and tools. Massachusetts Financial Services Company is the investment adviser of the Fund.
